The Mission Statement of the District Attorney’s Office for the 20th Judicial District:

• The mission of this office is first and foremost to pursue justice through the fair and ethical prosecution of criminal offenders, thereby earning the respect of our community and giving its members peace of mind.  This is achieved by working closely with this district’s various law enforcement agencies.
• In addition, this office provides comfort and restitution to those victims who have been harmed by criminal offenders.
• Also, we strive to better our community through educational programs that inform the citizenry of the laws of the State of Louisiana.
• This office provides a friendly staff that will facilitate effective communication between the District Attorney and the community.
